Franz Josef Wagner (geboren 20.03.1856 in Wien | gestorben 05.06.1908 in Wien) war Militär-Kapellmeister bei den Infanterie-Regimentern Nr. 47 und Nr. 49 und wurde schon zu Lebzeiten als der "Österreichische Marschkönig" bezeichnet. Einige seiner Märsche erfreuen sich bis heute großer Beliebtheit, darunter der 47er Regimentsmarsch, Unter dem Doppeladler oder Schwert Österreichs.
