This set of trio d'anches arrangements derives from the organ works of the circle of composers around Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750). Johann Gottfried Walther (1684-1748) was J.S. Bach's cousin, as well as author of the Musicalisches Lexicon of 1732, the first German-language dictionary of music and musicians. Johann Ludwig Krebs (1713-1780) and Gottfried August Homilius (1714-1785) were J.S. Bach's students. Each has been skillfully arranged for Trio d'Anches (Oboe, Clarinet and Bassoon) by Darlene Franz. Selections include: Trio in F Major (Gottfried August Homilius) Aria in F Major (Johann Sebastian Bach) Nun lobe meine Seele den Herrn (Johann Gottfried Walther) Fugue(Johann Ludwig Krebs)
