A Dream within a Dream

Tuned wine glasses are made to vibrate and sing, creating a floating-ethereal bed of sound for this setting of Edgar Allan Poe's poem on transience. Dreamy, a little melancholy and harmonically simple, the composition lives from the mutual superimposition, intermingling and interplay of the six female voices (SSSAAA). A dreamlike sound experience for every women's chamber choir.
