Latin–Jazz for the Young Jazz Ensemble
The piece "Belle-Île", which is set aside for Big Band, is a composition by guitarist and music author Felix Schell and sparkles with a length of almost 4 minutes in the Bossa-Latin groove.
"Belle Île" uses vibraphone sequences (which can optionally be taken over by a guitar), corresponding brass fills and underlying harmonically interesting saxophone harmonies. Above all the melody appears, which is taken over by a flute in the first pass (alternatively other C-instruments are also possible). The solos (4 in total) are written out and intended as inspiration, free improvisations are desirable. The tune is very suitable for young big bands who already play at a higher level (level 2-4, depending on the part) - enjoyment is guaranteed.
