Sheet music by Johann Wilhelm Gabrielski

Johann Wilhelm Gabrielski was born in Berlin and learned to play the flute from his father, an officer of the Prussian army (as did his brother Julius, who also became a flutist). He was a pupil of August Schroeck the solo flutist of the Berlin Opera. Later he became solo flutist at the Stettiner Theater, as well as royal chamber musician at the Prussian court.
