Composed for the film A. M. D. G. - The World is not Enough (Loyola Productions, Inc.), marking the 450th anniversary of the death of St Ignatius Loyola. Ignatius, who died on 31 July 1556, was the founder of the Society of Jesus which today is known as the Jesuit order. This simple, attractive piece sets the composer's lyrics (Latin/English macaronic), based on Loyola's writings and scripture. Versatile and sacred performance: suitable for use as introit or communion antehm or as a reflective worship song. Intermediate standard (some divisi).
